Once installed, they are worn continuously, allowing you to enjoy your hair uninterrupted for months.

K-tip extensions are typically worn for approximately two and a half to four months.

Fine or fragile hair may require removal closer to two and a half to three months, while those with thicker, denser hair may wear them for up to four months. Your recommended timeline will be personalized to your natural hair and installation.

Because of the exceptional quality of the extension hair I work with, many clients are able to reuse it for another installation.

When the hair has been properly cared for and remains in excellent condition, the extensions can be removed, rebonded with fresh keratin, and reinstalled. The condition of the hair is assessed at the time of removal.

K-tip extensions should only be removed by a professional specifically trained in keratin bond extensions.

Correct removal requires the appropriate products, tools, and technique. Improper removal, whether attempted at home or performed by someone without the necessary training, can cause breakage and damage to your natural hair.

Brush your hair at least twice daily with an extension-safe brush, working from the ends upward while supporting the hair near the bonds.

Use sulfate-free, extension-safe products and keep conditioner and oils away from the attachment area. Never sleep with wet hair; dry the bond area completely and wear your hair in a loose braid or ponytail overnight.
