Lena is the founder of Hair Extensions by Lena — a private, appointment-only studio in Pearl River, NY, specializing in handcrafted K-tip extensions using the highest quality Russian hair.
Inspired by her own experience with extensions, Lena now helps women achieve the hair they’ve always wanted — and the confidence to match. She’s known for her meticulous technique, personalized approach, and artistic eye for creating natural-looking results.
Clients travel from across Rockland, Bergen, and Westchester Counties — as well as Long Island and the Hudson Valley — for her seamless, customized transformations.
What Makes My Work Different
The most natural results are created through customization, not a one-size-fits-all method. My work begins long before the first bond is installed. Every set is individually designed and handcrafted, with the size and weight of each strand adjusted according to the area of the head where it will be placed. Finer, more discreet bonds can be used around delicate areas, while placement is carefully planned for a comfortable installation and a seamless grow-out.
Color matching is also much more than choosing one shade from a swatch. I blend multiple tones to recreate the natural variation and dimension found in your own hair. This allows the extensions to blend more convincingly and can add brightness, contrast, or depth without requiring additional color services on your natural hair.
Texture and density are considered just as carefully. The hair is selected and customized to complement how your own hair looks, feels, and moves. The goal is never simply to add more hair but to create a finished result that looks balanced, undetectable, and entirely your own.
